Question:
Does anyone have any relaxation
tips that they have found to help in migraine relief? I would love to
hear about anythig you do to help you self aside from from the pills you
take. Does any one take anything herbal to help thei migraines either?
I'm really full of questions aren't I.
Answer:
I make an herbal tea from Chamomile, Willow Bark and Lavender ( I get these
at a health food store that sells bulk herbs), and mix the Chamomile and
Willow Bark in even portions, add a sprinkle of the Lavender. I put the mix
into a tea-ball and steep for about 3-5 minutes.
The tea smells good (the lavender) and tastes kindof herby (?) but it helps
me to relax. If you have an allergy or sensitivity to aspirin, this won't
work, cuz willow bark is very much the same as aspirin. The Chamomile and
lavender together will help. I like the Willow Bark added cuz it helps take
the tension away that the migraines cause.
