Question:
My symptoms started one morning when I got to work and I got out of my
car and I remember thinking my leg didn't feel right. There was a
strange sensation in my ankel- it felt somehow 'loose' and it's hard to
describe but somehow it felt 'wrong'. I assumed I had sprained a
muscle or something and didn't pay it too much attention. Over the next
few days i noticed it more and more. I remember the weekend came
around; I got up on Saturday and went to walk down the stairs and I
could hardly do it - I felt like my leg was going to give way and could
hardly support me. Now I was of course getting very worried about this.
I spoke to my wife about it and she was worried but tried to take my
mind of it - she got me out in the garden doing some gardneing together
and I felt much better doing this - the leg seemed Ok now.
Answer:
Shame shame shame on those doctors of yours for not giving you xanax or
ativan or klonopin. You would have felt so much better with these
drugs. There was no need to suffer, which the doctors obviously allowed
you to do, which was to suffer needlessly. Yes, the counseling was very
helpful, but you needed something while you were going thru these
symptoms. I guess your doctors were 'benzophobic'. You don't live in
England, do you??? Anyway, I'm happy you resolved the inner turmoil.
wow... whaddah coinkidink. i had those same symptoms in my 20's, bout
8 years ago.... (y'all shaddup.) i chalked it ta too many
hallucenogenics and MDA and da white lady. (the lack of these pieces
of april pronounced the symptoms.) the solution, of course, was to
NEVER allow a depletion of stock, backstock,or'ah fuck buddy with all
this stuff at his fingertips.... (in case of emergency, of course.)
i was real smart when i was 20. sumthin' intelligence depletin'
must'ah happened along tha way.
maybe it was'ah "sign" ta stay in bed. but then agin, i use everything
as'ah "sign" ta do that. Chris gets kicked off American Idol? "sign"
ta stay in bed. outta milkshakes at Micky D's? (you got it.) i ran
outta terlet paper once and stayed in bed til a roll manifested itself.
(that 17 years of beauty sleep didn't bring the desired results) but i
get numbness in my little finger, as well. Gary told me it was maybe a
pinched nerve. welllllllllllll, i think i'm merely dying all tha time.
my arms and legs do that when i'm about to panic. there's no way i'd
waste my time imagin' this, i assume you don't either, when ya got way
better things to imagine... like winnin' tha lottery.
did you go to a neurologist? they're very effective. my ex had
restless leg syndrome that became symptomatic more frequently. the
neurologist said "oh, you're having more frequent symptoms, it could be
a number of things." see? A GENIUS AT WORK ! so he gave him lortabs
and said "make a follow up appointment and we'll evaluate this
medication". well... suffice it ta say... with 60 lortabs in tanya's
arena, WHADD'AH HIS CHANCES?
