Question:
A Great Stress Releif Strategy!!! ?
Answer:
WOW, I just tried this stress relief strategy and it works really well.
It's kinda like the Circle of Excellence Strategy but it uses wall
anchors instead of floor anchors. Here's how it goes.
1. Stand the client about a foot away from a solid wall.
2. Have the client imagine a circle on the wall about eye level.
3. Ask them to describe the circle to help strengthen the anchor.
4. Have the client visualize the desired state in the circle on the wall.
5. Anchor the clients stressful state on their forehead.
6. Change the client's state by quickly thrusting their head into the
resource circle on the wall.
7. If the clent hasn't fully integrated the new state, repeatedly thrust
their head into the resource circle until you observe a profound state
change in the client.
8. Future pace the client as an ecology check.
Funny, I had always thought that beating your head against the wall
caused stress, silly me.
The problem with some walls is that using this process can cause perminant damage...to the wall.
I have found that brick walls work best because they are easy to wash off.
The way this process works best is to releive stress in the pratictioner. When I have clients
that refuse to cooperate with me and I start to feel uptight, I use this process on the client
and I feel much better.
