Question:
stress induced symptoms ?
Answer:
I like taking tests to see where I stand for that given moment. I have
somehow stayed pretty stable even though I hit pretty high on the
life's stressors chart. One wonders how the winter will play out as I
experience several more life stressors that I know of on the horizon
and winter is my mixed season. I send this out because of another
thread where Maggie and I talked about patterns. It made me think
about what has happened, what is going to happen and that due to my
natural rhythm, I need to practice careful self care. Be careful out
there.

My results:
Your Life Events Score
Your score: 475
This is the sum of all the "checked" values. If your total score is
more than 150, find ways to reduce stress in your daily life so that
your stress level does not increase. The higher the score, the harder
one needs to work at staying physically and emotionally well.
0-149 Low susceptibility to stress-related illness
150-299 Medium susceptibility to stress-related illness
300 and over High susceptibility to stress-related illness
I was just thinking about you last night. In the middle of the night,
I had a craving for pancit. I am going to have to make a huge dish of
it and take it in to work to share as soon as we are settled in to our
new place.
I like to use some tests for charting but not for dignosis. It helps
me see patterns which is important because my patterns and symptoms
have dramatically changed in the past 3 years.
I know! You wouldn't know though. My therapist says that I run from
acknowledging the stress and problems in my life. I don't take life too
seriously (most of the time). When all else fails there's chocolate and
laughter.
