Question:
Well I don't know if it was the holiday stress, driving home in snow etc.
(Virginia to Pennsylvania) Well I guess I meant my own home...to my parents
home. Anyway I feel horrible and had one partial obstruction on the right
side which resolved itself but kept me awake all night. Two days later I
had one on the left side which is very unusual and after 5 hours or so with
my stomach just staying bloated I decided it might be time for the ER. Went
at 4 am. Was seen for the first time at 9am by then it had resolved itself
but of course when this happened I was already in the darn room
waiting...for a dr. That just made me so mad that by 12 noon I was released
just as I could have told them I would be around 8 am. Jeez just another
bill to pay...The ER dr told me that small bowel perforations were pretty
rare and much more so than large...so I think I will wait longer next time.
Answer:
Where in Pennsylvania is home for you??? I live in northeast
Pennsylvania...near Scranton....I can relate to the "ER" visit...I am
also battling obstructions..so I know how you feel!!! You have my
sympathies and my shoulder to cry on...if you need it!!! Wouldn't it be
"Cool" if we lived near one another...let me know!!! We can "Bitch"
stress doesnt help...and the cold weather..and the different food..different
surroundings..not to mention the family
take care..just to know i am thinking of you

Try having kids on a year round schedule. I have mine home until Jan. 28th.
I've even thought of sending mine to Nana and Grandpa in Alaska.
i do ..i have 2 step daughters who never seem to have a whole day of
school...they are here more than there...and my college son? is also
home...all the time
oh well having kids around keeps one young...tired...active...and its a great excuse
for the house being a mess
