HELP: Neighbor's Dog's STRESS Problem ?

Question:

My problem is that one of my neighbors (who I should say is half nuts anyway!) says that since I have different dogs in my yard the scents are causing her dog (a german shepherd) to not want to go out in his yard and causing him stress. Can this be true?

Answer:
Sure. His dog is obviously a bit disturbed about other dogs. That is his problem and not yours. Sounds like he could use a doggie shrink(behavior consultant). Have him speak with vets shelters and rescue groups. They'll know who can be of help. A visit or two to the home by such a person can be of considerable help.

I agree with Elaine on this one...do what you can to prevent contact between you and your neighbor as much as possible..Oh yeah by the way is it at all possible that perhaps your neighbor is a little jealous?

Your neighbor is nuts. You are complying with the law. There isn't anything that she can legally do to you. You might want to put in a privacy fence if you don't already have one. You really want to reduce contact with this person as much as possible.
