Question:
I am trying to find out some information about "Midwest Center for Stress
and Anxiety". www.stresscenter.com Has anyone had any experience with
this organization? Does it work?
Answer:
I have never used Lucinda`s program but others have and some
felt it really helped them.
If you are seriously considering buying the program, go to E-bay. From what I
have heard, you can pick up the program for alot less money there. You could
also see if your local library has the program.
It is in the Midwest and it primarily deals with anxiety. If it dealt
with left-handed kangaroos it would be the midwest center for
left-handed kangaroos. I must jump on.
You mean their $ 350.- program of tapes etc.? Some people like it a lot but
it is far too expensive for what it offers IMO which is primairily some
watered down CBT. You can maybe buy it second-hand at eBay or it may be
available at your local library. For a good self-help manual Edmund J
Bourne's "The Anxiety & Phobia Handbook" is recommended, available on te web
at www.amazon.com
